DAWSONVILLE -- The Dawson County girls basketball team picked up its ninth win of the season on Thursday night over visiting West Forsyth, 62-23 in Dawsonville.
Lady Tigers (9-1) sophomore post Ashley Parker led all scorers with 16 points and added 7 rebounds. Carly Gilreath also scored 14 points.
Dawson County led 31-10 at halftime and held West Forsyth scoreless in the fourth quarter
Dawson County will next play in the Battle of the States Tournament Dec. 27-29 in Towns County.
