By Jeff Hart Sports Reporter
GAINESVILLE -- East Hall used 13-0 run to end the third quarter en route to an 82-60 win over Flowery Branch Thursday in the boys consolation round of the Lanierland Tournament at Gainesville High.

The game was tight throughout the first half with neither team leading by more than five points with the Vikings taking a 30-27 lead into halftime. But East Hall's defense forced five straight turnovers to spark the run to take a 59-38 lead into the fourth quarter.

Bryan Edwards poured in 20 points to lead East Hall. Hayden Chapman added 15, including four 3-pointers, as 13 different players scored for the Vikings.

Nick Wayne led Flowery Branch with 20 points Jamaad Stephens had 11 and Cody Dewing nine for the Falcons.

The Lions led just 20-19 late in the first quarter when Trevor Price sparked the run with a steal and layup. They would take a 34-20 lead before the War Eagles began to chip away.
