BUFORD - Gwinnett County Police were on the scene of a murder in Buford Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators responded to a report of gunshots at 1869 Appaloosa Lane around 5:30 p.m.
According to police, responding officers found the body of a black man lying on the ground outside of the apartment where the initial call came.
Authorities said there was evidence of drug activity at the scene. Police were working to notify next of kin, identify a suspect or suspects and determine the motive.
