HOMER -- The North Hall boys basketball team overpowered Banks County 60-39 in Homer on Tuesday.
The Trojans (5-1, 2-0 Region 7-AAA) overcame a slow start to lead 24-17 at halftime and never looked back.
Avery Cagle posted a game-high 20 points in the win, while Ebo Smith finished with 17 and Griffin Olson 11.
Austin Venable paced Banks County with 11 points.
North Hall will play again Saturday in the first round of the Lanierland Tournament at Gainesville High, facing Lakeview at 11:30 a.m.
