The Lakeview girls basketball team held off a furious Lumpkin County rally and held on for a 50-43 win on Friday.<br />
The Lady Lions (3-1) led by 12 points heading into the fourth, but the Lady Indians -- led by Morgan Wood's 15 fourth quarter points -- pulled within three points before Lakeview held on for the win.<br />
The Lady Lions' Daniele Morgan scored eight points in the fourth to finish with 17. Schyler Miller added 10.<br />
Wood led the Lady Indians with 17, Dakota Sullens added 12, and Lacey Robinson chipped in with eight points and 15 rebounds.<br />
Lumpkin travels to face Dawson County on Saturday.<br />
Lakeview will play host to Commerce on Saturday.
