Boys basketball: Chestatee holds off Northview for first win

JEFFERSON -- The Chestatee boys basketball team earned its first win of the season with a 67-65 victory over Northview Saturday night.

The War Eagles (1-2) trailed 14-11 after the first quarter but rallied to tie the game at 32 by halftime.

Chestatee used a 19-8 third quarter to take a 51-40 lead into the fourth quarter and then held on down the stretch to get the win.

Keelan Passmore paced Chestatee with 21 points. Justin Jones had 19 points, Jordan Degraff 11 points, and Jordan Pulliam 10 points for the War Eagles.

Chestatee next will play host to Pickens on Tuesday.
