Girls basketball: Chestatee stumbles vs. Mountain View

JEFFERSON -- The Chestatee girls basketball team fell to Mountain View 47-31 on Tuesday in the Jefferson Tip-off Tournament in Jefferson.

Mountain View took a 15-6 first quarter lead, and the Lady War Eagles (1-1) never forged ahead.

Maegan Kenimer scored eight points to lead Chestatee, while Sammantha Brown added seven points.

Chestatee play again in the tournament at 4 p.m. Saturday.
