Downtown Gainesville kicking off holiday season

GAINESVILLE - Downtown Gainesville kicks off the holiday season next week with the annual Jingle Mingle on the Square.

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce will host the annual event on November 15th, which includes its annual Holiday Business After Hours. The hours are 5:00-8:00.

It is sponsored by Main Street Gainesville and is open to the public. Shops around the square will be open late with specials and treats for the entire family. Also included will be pictures with Santa, a Kiddie Train, food, drink, carolers and more.

Fiscal cliff may determine gas prices at start of 2013
