By staff reports
OAKWOOD -- North Hall held West Hall to just 135 total yards in taking a 48-10 win over the Spartans Friday in Region 7-AAA play.

The win put the Trojans (7-1, 5-0 Region 7-AAA) within one win of claiming the region title. A win over Banks County next week will clinch the title for North Hall, which finishes the season against Buford.

North Hall piled up 420 yards rushing for the game, paced by Zac Little who had 146 yards and two touchdowns on just seven carries. He had a 50-yard TD run in the first quarter and a 36-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter.

Bradley Brown had 75 yards rushing three TDs in ther first half on just 12 carries.

West Hall (3-5, 2-3) was led by 45 yards rushing and 37 yards passing from quarterback Zach English. Chase Jarrard came up with the Spartans' lone touchdown, scooping up a fumble and returning it 40 yards for a score late in the second quarter.

West Hall also got a 32-yard field goal from Connor Kirkland in the third quarter.

The Spartans will look to bounce back at White County next week.
