Sat. voting this weekend

By Ken Stanford Reporter
GAINESVILLE - Advance voting for the Nov. 6 general election, which has been underway in Georgia since Oct. 15, is continuing but with an extra day this week to cast ballots.

The state requires one Saturday set aside in each county for Saturday voting during each election cycle. This time around that date is this Saturday, Oct. 27. Advance voting places will be open 9:00-4:00.

Places vary by county, but in our area they include the Hall County Elections Office in Gainesville and in Habersham County, the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center in Clarkesville.

Monday begins the final week of advance voting in Georgia.
