Police looking for second suspect in home invasion

By Derreck Booth Anchor/reporter
GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Police are looking for the 23 year old man they believe was one of two suspects involved in a home invasion that happened in early August.

Investigators believe Jose Luis Osorio and a 16 year old juvenile forced their way into an apartment at Paces Court, tied the victim up and stole several items, including the victim's car.

Police Wednesday said they had obtained warrants for Osorio. The 16 year old is already in custody. Investigators said Osorio should be considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities believe the duo is responsible for a number of burglaries and thefts in the area.

Anyone with any information regarding Osorio's whereabouts can contact Gainesville Police at 770-534-5252 or 911.
