UNDATED - Authorities were forced to close a couple of roads in northeast Georgia Tuesday afternoon following rush-hour traffic accidents.
Habersham County and Demorest authorities re-opened Habersham Mills Road at Quarry Road around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday following an earlier traffic accident that had forced its closure.
The crash had the entire road closed for about an hour. One lane was re-opened around 4:45 p.m, with final clearing about 15 minutes later.
The four-vehicle wreck reportedly involved minor injuries.
In Hall County, authorities blocked the southbound lanes of Interstate 985 for a time while they worked what was reported as an overturned vehicle accident.
The wreck happened shortly after 5:00 p.m. and blocked or partially blocked southbound lanes near the Spout Springs Road exit until about 6:00 p.m.
Injuries there were also reportedly minor.
