Volleyball: East Hall drops playoff game to Oconee County

WATKINSVILLE -- The East Hall volleyball team fell to Oconee County in three sets on Wednesday in the first round of the Class AAA playoffs in Watkinsville.

The Lady Vikings (30-15) dropped the three sets 25-11, 25-21, 25-9 to see their best ever season come to an end.

Brittney Campbell had 7 digs, 1 kill and 13 assists to help lead East Hall, while Emily Hoggard had 2 points on serve, 3 kills, 1 assist and 6 digs. Kara Hix scored 5 points on serve and had 20 digs, and TT Shelton scored 3 points on serve with 2 kills, 1 assist and 5 digs. Tarryn Long also had 1 point scored on serve, 6 kills, and 5 digs, while Emily Roberts had 4 points scored on serve with 3 digs, 3 blocks and 5 kills. Allyson Segars also had 4 kills and 1 dig on the night.
