Volleyball: North Hall knocks off GHS

MURRAYVILLE -- The North Hall girls volleyball team snapped a three-match losing streak with a tough 3-2 win over Gainesville on Tuesday.

The Lady Trojans (16-18) avenged an earlier loss to the Lady Elephants with a 25-11, 21-25, 25-14, 21-25, 15-6 in a match that went down to the wire.

Sydney Cleveland paced North Hall with 19 kills, 12 digs, and four blocks. Allie Staub had eight kills, 12 digs, two aces, and one block and Kristina Gregory added 29 assists, three aces, two kills, and one block for the Lady Trojans.

Sarah Yoder had seve kills and three blocks, Makenzie Bryant had 10 digs and two kills, Andi Fleming had eight digs and three aces, and Taylor Cox had one block and one kill for North Hall.

The Lady Trojans next will travel to rival Chestatee on Thursday.
