ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Hawks have signed former Georgia Tech standout Isma'il Muhammad on the eve of training camp.
General manager Danny Ferry announced the move Monday. The 6-foot-6 Muhammad is an Atlanta native who played at Georgia Tech from 2001-05. The swingman has played professionally in Europe, South America, the Middle East and New Zealand.
The Hawks have 19 players on their training camp roster.
Five different Gladiators racked up multiple points, as Gwinnett dominated the Greenville Road Warriors 6-2 Saturday night at the BI-LO Center to move into a tie atop the South Division with Greenville.
Over the last two years, the Wizards have been the ultimate road warriors in the playoffs, winning eight of nine games away from D.C. and becoming the first team in NBA history to capture four straight Game 1s in the other team's arena.
