Man busted in prostitution sting

By Ken Stanford Reporter
GAINESVILLE - A 35-year-old Gainesville man has been arrested for allegedly trying to exchange $50 worth of drugs for sex during an encounter with an undercover agent posing as a prostitute.

Lt. Scott Ware of the Gainesville-Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad, which also handles vice investigations in the county, says Richard Keith Hart was arrested Thursday on Merchant's Way in Oakwood.

Ware said Hart "was arrested without incident after he delivered a quantity of hydrocodone tablets to a predetermined location in Hall County. Mr. Hart had been communicating with an undercover Agent who he believed to be a female prostitute. Mr. Hart negotiated trading 10 hydrocodone tablets and $50 for sex."

Hart is charged with Possession of Hydrocodone with the Intent to Distribute and
Pandering.
