Soccer: Chestatee girls fall to No. 2 Lambert

Chestatee stayed close with Class AAA No. 2-ranked Lambert for a half before eventually falling 4-0 Friday in Region 7-AAA girls soccer action.

The Lady War trailed just 2-0 at half-time but the Lady Longhorns scored two second half goals to put the game away.

Senior Jessica Dunagan played well defensively for Chestatee (5-9-2, 2-8 in region).

Lambert (13-3, 10-1) completed its region play and secured the #2 slot for state play-offs. Chestatee travels to Johnson on Monday and hosts White County on Wednesday to complete their region games and regular season.
