CLEVELAND -- White County baseball maintained its spot near the top of Region 7A-AAA on Monday courtesy a 7-4 win over Gilmer in Cleveland.
The Warriors (13-5, 8-4 Region 7-AAA) used a strong pitching performance from Luke Crumley to help seal the victory. Crumley struck out eight in five innings pitched, while Bo Medlock picked up the save.
Crumley also led the way at the plate, blasting a home run.
Adam Hooper also went 3-for-4 with a double for White County, while Hayden Cummins was 2-for-4.
The Warriors travel to take on Flowery Branch on Wednesday.
