Boys tennis: North Hall aces Chestatee

North Hall swept the doubles matches to secure a 4-1 win over rival Chestatee Thursday in Region 7A-AAA boys tennis action.

#The No. 1 team of Eli LoCicero and Charlie Hortenstine beat Brantley Beck and Pearce Gruenenfelder 6-1, 6-2 while the No. 2 team of Jack Hortenstine and Joe Nedza beat Ben Hussler and Chase Smith 6-0, 7-6 (7-2).

In singles action, North Hall's Clayton Nedza knocked off Jonathon Cook 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) at No. 1 and Mitch McCray beat Blaine Brown 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles.

Chestatee's lone win came at No. 3 singles with Jeremiah Reed beating Will Bennett 6-4, 6-4.

North Hall is now 4-2 overall and 3-0 in subregion.
