UGA's Pugh over H1N1, will play Saturday

By The Associated Press
ATHENS -- Georgia safety Makiri Pugh expects to play against South Carolina after recovering from swine flu.

Pugh tested positive for the H1N1 virus last week and didn't play in the season opener against Oklahoma State. But he got over the illness in a couple of days and was back at practice Tuesday.

No. 21 Georgia (0-1) hosts South Carolina (0-1) on Saturday night.

Pugh said the flu was "not a big deal," though it did delay his college football debut. The redshirt freshman is a nickel back in the Bulldogs secondary.
