Gwinnett shootout leaves one dead

DACULA - Gwinnett County police say a shootout Wednesday morning in a medical office complex parking lot in the Dacula area has left one man dead and another wounded.

Gwinnett Coulty Police Cpl. David Schiralli says the men were involved in a gunfight with each other in a parking lot at 3625 Braselton Highway at Jim Moore Road in Dacula.

He says one man died and the other was taken to a hospital with life-threatening wounds.

Schiralli says police are trying to determine a motive for the shootings. The names of those involved have not been released.
