Sharp exchange between Banks, Gailey

By Judd Hickinbotham
GAINESVILLE- Monday's Hall County Commission work session ended with a heated discussion between Commissioners Steve Gailey and Bobby Banks.

Banks said he received several calls from worried members of the fire department after a conversation they had with Gailey on Friday. Banks said they called him because they were worried about their jobs.

Gailey said he never told anyone they were losing their jobs, and said he would continue to be honest about the economy when someone asks his opinion and he invited Banks to go with him next time.
