Gladiators 2009-10 schedule announced

DULUTH -- The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today the team's schedule for the 2009-10 season. The Gladiators 72 game regular season schedule opens at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth on Saturday, Oct. 17, against the Wheeling Nailers and concludes on Saturday, April 3, 2010 against the division rival South Carolina Stingrays.

The Gladiators 72 game schedule will again include 36 home games and 36 road games.

Twenty-eight of the Gladiators 36 home games are weekend dates with nine Friday games, 12 on Saturday and seven games on Sunday. Breaking down the Gladiators home schedule by month, there are three games in October, seven in November, six in December, five in January, six in February, seven in March and two in April.

For the seventh straight season, the Gladiators will play on Thanksgiving Night, Thursday, November 26th at 7:05 p.m. Gwinnett has average over 5,500 fans on the Annual Thanksgiving holiday match up during the teamâ
