Georgia football lands big-time cornerback

The Georgia Bulldogs picked up an impressive commitment Sunday night when highly-recruited cornerback Branden Smith chose to play for the Bulldogs.

Smith, from Atlanta's Booker T. Washington High, is ranked as the fastest and top athlete in Rivals.com's cornerback rankings and is a five star-rated recruit.

With the addition of Smith, Georgia now has 17 non-binding verbal commitments.
