HALL COUNTY -- The North Hall softball team got a strong outing from pitcher Megan Rogers but couldn't find a way past Pickens on Thursday, falling 3-2 in nine innings.
Rogers pitched a five-hitter and had 10 strikeouts against the Dragons.
North Hall (11-7, 2-3 Region 7A-AAA) put together 10 hits on offense but couldn't come up with the clutch hit, stranding 14 runners.
The Lady Trojans play again at 8 a.m. Saturday morning against Lovett in the North Fall Classic at North Hall.
