GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy volleyball team picked up a win against Buford but fell to Greater Atlanta Christian in a tri-match on Tuesday in Gainesville.
The Lady Lions (7-10, 4-3 Area 8-AA) fought past the Lady Wolves in three sets to start the night (27-25, 18-25, 25-16).
Louisa Jacobs led Lakeview with nine kills and three aces in the win. Liz Clark added five kills, and Megan Rochester had four kills. Emily Norton, meanwhile, tallied 20 assists, and Heather Styles notched three aces.
Lakeview suffered a 2-0 sweep to Greater Atlanta in its second match (25-11, 25-8).
The Lady Lions play again Thursday, traveling to Jefferson for an Area 8-AA tri-match against the Lady Dragons and Prince Avenue Christian.
