GAINESVILLE - Yet another rabies case has been confirmed in Hall County.
Officials with the Gainesville-Hall Animal Control reported contact between a raccoon and four domesticated dogs on Oconee Circle Monday.
The Georgia Public Health Lab in Decatur confirmed the raccoon was infected with the disease.
Authorities said they will conduct a door to door canvas of the East Hall neighborhood where the rabid raccoon was located.
Hall County has seen more than 30 cases of rabies so far this year.
