Former Flowery Branch coach arrested for stalking

By Katie Crumley
UNDATED - A former Flowery Branch High School coach was arrested and charged with stalking Thursday morning.

Hall County Sheriff's Maj. Jeff Strickland said 35-year-old Shannon Mandeville of Dacula was arrested following an investigation.

"It started when a South Hall female started receiving obscene phone calls," Strickland said. "Mandeville was identified after a review of his phone records."

Strickland said Mandeville has not been employed at Flowery Branch High School since his 2007 arrest for obscene Internet contact with a child.

He said Mandeville is currently being held at the Hall County Jail without bond.
