CLEVELAND - White County has become one of the latest in the state to develop a federally-approved Debris Management Plan.
Ken Davis with the Georgia Emergency Management Agency said this plan provides more federal funding in the event of a disaster.
"Hopefully in the unlikely event that something devastating occurs in White County, the whole recovery process will go much smoother," said Davis.
Having the plan in place entitles White County to an additional 5 percent federal cost share for debris removal should a disaster occur.
