3 teens plead guilty in July beating outside Ga. Six Flags

<p>Three teens accused in the severe beating of another teen outside the Six Flags Over Georgia amusement park pleaded guilty Wednesday to misdemeanor charges.</p><p>The three were among seven young men charged in the July 3 beating that left Joshua Martin, 19, with head injuries.</p><p>The teens who pleaded guilty will remain at home under monitoring at least 90 days until another hearing is held to determine their sentences.</p><p>As part of their plea agreement, they agreed to testify against several adults who are charged in the case. If they do not cooperate with prosecutors, the three teens will face felony charges, officials said.</p><p>The teens were identified in court. However, Juvenile Court Judge James Whitfield ordered that their names not be released. All three were juveniles at the time of their arrest.</p><p>"These were not the ringleaders," said Michael Mann, a lawyer for one of the teens.</p><p>During the beating, one attacker used brass knuckles to punch Martin, causing him to fall to the ground as others kicked, punched and stomped on him, according to an arrest warrant. The beating left Martin with a shoe print on his face.</p>
