GAINESVILLE - Funeral services will be held Saturday for a retired longtime employee of the City of Gainesville Planning Department. <br>

Vera Jones Cape died at her Burns Drive home Thursday following a brief illness. <br>
<br>
Cape worked for the city planning department for more than 40 years. <br>
<br>
She was 74-years-old.<br>
<br>
The funeral will be Saturday at 3:00 at Little-Davenport Funeral Home.
