Rogers, Deal unopposed

ATLANTA - Only one candidate qualified Friday in Atlanta to run for offices that include Hall County in the upcoming primary.

45 year old Democrat Tim Hoyt of Gainesville signed up to run for state House District 21. He was the second Democrat to qualify. Two Republicans also signed on this week.

Democrat Carl Rogers of Gainesville remained unopposed in state House District 20. Republican incumbent State Repreentative Michael Coan of Lawrenceville became the latest challenger for State Representative James Mills of Chesnut Mountain, also a Republican, in the race for state House District 67 Post one. Nathan Deal of Gainesville was unopposed in U.S. Congressional District ten.

In the Northeastern Judicial Circuit, Superior Court judges Andrew Fuller and John Girardeau and District Attorney Jason Deal were unopposed.
