WINDER - Winder Police say it was bicycle stunt jumping and not wearing proper gear that lead to the death of a 12 year old boy. <br>

Winder Police Lieutenant Lamar Reynolds says Josh Phillips and a group of other youths were stunt jumping there bikes on Lacy Lane Monday. <br>

"He was not wearing a helmet or pads, but we are not sure they would have saved him." Reynolds said.<br>
<br>
The ramp was set up at the bottom of a steep hill, when Phillips got to ramp the lost control and struck his head on a concrete surface. <br>
<br>
Reynolds says he suffered massive head injuries in the fall.<br>
